I recorded an interview with Ricardo Lopes for his YouTube channel The Dissenter, about my book Gender-Critical Feminism. When I emailed a little while later to ask when the video would be posted, I received the following reply:

“I was going to post it next Monday, August 22, but I will take some time this Friday to rewatch it because I do not think I feel comfortable with the trans/gender part. I have been extremely busy, and I have not had time to rewatch it yet. I think I may postpone its release. I will let you know once I have a clearer idea about when I will publish it.”

I never heard from him again, despite replying to ask him if he remembered what his channel was called, and emailing once again later to ask if he’d rewatched it and made a decision yet.
